Hello, hello Werkout Wednesday!!
Anyone else busy, busy wrapping up 2018 and fully immersed in the whirlwind that is the Holiday season?! Everyone. Yeah I thought so. Anyone else notice their fitness and health routines rapidly dive-bomb during this time of year? Yeah me too. But it is ok!! It is cold outside which means being active outdoors isn't really an option. Unless you're in the southern hemisphere, in which case I'm jealous of your beach time! :) There are holiday parties galore, year end deadlines means long hours at work instead of the gym and more time with family is usually accompanied with more food and drinks.

Clearly I totally get it! So I decided to share with you an on the go, work with your busy schedule, do what you can kind of workout that is called Tone It Up. If you haven't heard of it yet, you probably haven't spent much time in Target or on Instagram but don't worry, I have the full story here for you!! So read, enjoy and slip some kind of workout in between baking cookies and wrapping presents. And if you've already celebrated Hanukkah then now is your time to get that NYE bod on point!

Class: Booty For Days
Description: This is a monthly membership app that you can use on your phone and it will give you access to a ton of different workouts all ranging in length of time, body part, type of workout, etc. You need minimum equipment (usually just some booty bands or dumbbells) for each class and can easily do them in your living room, hotel, dorm, etc.
Level: Beginner: Since you can pick and choose which workouts you do, you can kind of find one that is right for you. I may get some backlash about this, but personally I haven't found these workouts to be incredibly challenging. I think they are good and a great on the go, quick option, but I usually feel like I need a little bit more of a challenge from my workouts. I know a lot of people really love these workouts and they are fun but to me many of these just seem a little too quick and easy.
Geared Towards: Young Women! The marketing for this brand is adorable but definitely leans towards a specific demographic. Everything is "bootyful" and "babe" with pink and girly tones to it. This is great for the young women who are part of this really inspiring online community. Might not be so appealing to everyone though.
What I Loved: That you can do these workout anytime and anywhere and some are only 7 minutes long. In this week's werkout, I actually did it before going to happy hour and didn't even have to re-do my make up. Win, win. On a usual basis I like longer, more challenging workouts but lets face it, sometimes we just need to squeeze in a quick one that fits in our busy day. This is a great option for that. I also do think the two co founders and all their other trainers are adorable and inspiring. They are real women who empower other women and I will support that all day every day!
What I Would Improve: I think these workouts could be a little longer and a little more rigorous instead of having so many different short ones. Sometimes I feel like I have to hunt through so many and then do multiple different ones just to get a full body workout.
The Studio: Anywhere you are. In a park. In a hotel room. At the gym. In your living room. You can wear what you want. Your kids can be napping in the other room. Again, you can get it done on a work trip before drinks with co-workers. Convenience is a major plus with this one.
How to Access: Download the App and sign up for a monthly membership that will be automatically withdrawn and then you can use it on your phone wherever you go.
